Meet Our Professional Counseling Services Team

Counseling Associates has a staff of therapists, care coordinators, and administrative staff with more than 96 years of combined experience. While each has a very personal reason for entering the mental health field, collectively they have a common goal - to be welcoming and compassionate, to genuinely connect with people, and to use their knowledge and expertise to improve lives.

“We all have our unique styles or approach, but everybody is interested in the welfare of people,” says Executive Director Michael Maher. “Everybody is vested in the same mindset – we want people to be able to manage life better than when they came in.”

If you are interested in becoming part of the Advisory Board, call the office for more information and an application. The term of office will rotate between two- and three-year terms. Responsibilities include:

Commitment to the work of the organization
Attend monthly board meetings
Be well informed about the organization’s programs, policies, and services
Maintain a high degree of familiarity with the issues, concerns, and trends in the field
Develop and maintain positive relations among the board and staff members
